Loving thoughts

I wanted to give this technique a try after I saw some of Gritty Jane's works, it intrigued me and I have to say it is a lot of fun, I called this painting "Loving Thoughts" because of the spot the heart ended up in.
16x16 inch ( 40x40 cm) wrapped canvas
I have put in-between-photos as well, so you can see how I started this play

I've done something similar a while back but I should really try to do a face cause this looks brilliant. :) Don't you just love the black against all the colors? :)

Gorgeous! I just love your faces, Joyce! They are always so soft and painted in confidence....even when trying a new technique...your own style shines thru!

I love your rainbow tipped painty brush :)

This is just gorgeous. I may have to pin this to my pinterest boards. Love the effect and I agree wholeheartedly with what Cameron said.

Oh I didn't know that's how she did those paintings of hers, and now you showed me. Thank you. It looks so fun! I'll have to try it one day.

Hi -thanks for the comments you left on my blog. I found you just by blog hopping and following you via a comment you left on another blog - mmm I feel like a bit of a stalker. I love this art work - I'm also a fan of 'Gritty Janes' I love her style - you have captured the essence of her style very well. I love how you began by throwing paint onto a black surface - I think we are all going to have to live several life's to try out all the wonderful techniques and styles and ideas - boy I hope reincarnation is real!
